What Is an Air Purifier?

An air purifier (also called an air cleaner or air filtration unit) is an appliance that removes airborne contaminants from indoor air by forcing it through a filter medium. A motor-driven fan draws room air in through one side, passes it through filter stages, and exhausts cleaned air from the other side. How to Choose an Air Purifier That Actually Works

Most people buy an air purifier that is too small for the room they want to clean.
