It does not. Our product rankings and recommendations are determined by verified performance data — specifically AHAM-verified CADR, HEPA filter grade, filter replacement costs and Beast Score calculations. Commission rates are not a factor.

We recommend the Coway AP-1512HH as a top pick across most of our buying guides not because it earns a higher commission (it does not) but because it has AHAM-verified CADR 246 at the lowest price in its class. We publish honest negative assessments of products that would earn us commissions if we promoted them uncritically.
