How to Replace a Shark Air Purifier Filter — Step by Step
Replacing a Shark filter is a 5-minute process. The procedure is similar across HP100, HP200 and HP300 models.
Step 1 — Power Off and Unplug
Turn the purifier off using the power button and unplug from the wall. Never attempt filter replacement with the unit powered on.
Step 2 — Open the Filter Access Panel
On HP100/200/300 models, the filter access panel is on the side or bottom of the unit. Rotate or slide the panel according to the model-specific instructions in the user manual. The filter is visible inside the housing.
Step 3 — Remove the Old Filter
Grasp the filter by its frame and pull it straight out of the housing. The old filter will contain captured particles — carry it to a bin and dispose immediately. Do not shake or tap the used filter indoors, as this releases captured allergens.
